We provide our management teams with the operating resources necessary to achieve their value creation objectives. We work with a number of operating partners who can provide guidance or manage a business on an interim or permanent basis.
SHARED OWNERSHIP
Shared ownership ensures all parties interests are aligned and business decisions are made to create long-term value rather than short-term profits. We are open to “rollover” investment by former owners and existing management teams. We also provide a generous equity option program for key managers who can effect change and drive enterprise value.
CONSERVATIVE LEVERAGE
We are conservative with our capital structures to ensure that portfolio companies can comfortably meet their debt service requirements, while also having access to the funds necessary to support growth initiatives.
PATIENT INVESTORS
We primarily invest private capital which means we are under less timing pressure than most private equity firms. We can be patient with management and give our strategic initiatives time to fully materialize. We can also be opportunistic with the sale of our companies to make sure value has been maximized and market conditions are right.
